Before you leave home
Carry every report you have — blood tests, biopsy slides and blocks, CT/MRI/PET films and CDs, discharge summaries and a list of current medicines. Bring your Aadhaar card, and your Ayushman card if you have one.
At the front desk
Registration takes about ten minutes. Tell the desk if you have travelled from outside Gorakhpur — we try to complete first-visit investigations the same day so you do not need an extra trip.
The consultation
The doctor will review your reports, examine you, and explain what is known and what still needs testing. It helps to bring one family member who can take notes. Never hesitate to ask for anything to be repeated in Hindi or explained again.
Before you leave
Collect a written plan: which tests are next, when to return, and a phone number to call with questions. If a treatment is advised, the Ayushman desk can check your coverage the same day.
